And in other news: I just updated the tally with everybody's first 7 days. Frankly, I was dreading this update because I thought it'd be a load of work, haha, but it turns out it's actually kinda easy and doesn't take much time at all.

That being said, if you see any mistakes on there (if I've got an incorrect deadline for you, etc.) or you'd like something changed (you want to be added on to the tally or taken off of it), let me know! Either pm me or post a message in this thread and I'll get on it lickety-split.

As for the formatting of the tally, haha, yeah... it kinda looks like ass right now, but if I can figure out a way to make it look nicer/clearer (or if anybody else has ideas), I shall, heh.

4 proposals to spotlight the badasses, 0 opposed (so far), so it is done.

EDIT: I used to have 4 paragraphs here musing on the pros and cons of spotlighting streakers, but it was suggested that by doing so it might help fuel the cons in to fruition, heh.

So long story short: There's now a list at the top of the tally of the people who, so far, have managed to post an image every day without being late by even 1 minute on any day. If you're curious, check it out! The spotlighting is mainly intended as a nice gesture to give some props to some hard-working peeps.

That being said, I want to again emphasize that the purpose of the February Challenge isn't so much to 'hit every day' as it is to KEEP PERSEVERING. If you/I/we miss a day or two, that's OKAY! We just gotta hop back on the art-train and keep pushing ourselves. The February Challenge is a personal challenge. We're doing this for ourself. The point of this event is to push ourselves in our own way to develop as artists, and maybe even as people. So you are never out - no matter how many stitches and bruises may appear on that jagged tally. Just jump back in the ring and baseball bat the next day in the nose.

I might move the list of streakers to the bottom of the tally to emphasize this quality of perseverance, but we'll see how things play out. In the meantime, keep drawing, keep learning, keep pushing yourself. We're on the dark side of the moon now, so from here on in, it's just a straight journey home. Rock it-

I like being known now as a streaker for another reason beyond the one I am normally known for.

Beyond just having the most initial numbers than ever before, I think this is the most participation that has continued on to this point. Amazing work everyone. You are all streakers in my book. In fact, I think everyone should get together at a Con and go streaking around the show floor as a show of pride.

If we start counting images that were posted on other sites at different times, that's opening a confusing can of worms that's best left closed for now.

But don't let it bother you. Honestly, that tally up there is mainly intended as a 'side-bonus' to February. The goal of all this is to produce work; the ticking things off on a board is absolutely secondary.

It is heartbreaking that you have a perfect streak going, except for the single day, by 6 minutes. But if it's any consolation, there's actually 1 guy on the board (there used to be 2) who's even more heartbreaking, heh. He's got a perfect streak going too, except for 1 day that was only 1 minute late (you can probably track him down if you want). And to the best of my knowledge, of the people on the board here who have done February before, I don't think there's a single one of us who hasn't had at least one late day in the past.

And of course, being on the tally is optional, so if you'd like to be taken off of it, we can do that too, no worries.

But yeah - you're solid as balls, Loki. Like you said, you've been drawing your comic daily since January, so you're already miles ahead of most of us. So for goodness' sake, give us a break and let us catch up to you, haha. Fist pound-

Whew! Honestly, I was very curious to see how this update would go. Week 3 is supposedly a difficult week for some, but when I was going through everybody's threads, I was quite surprised frankly to see the impressive results so far. It looks like we have a notably strong group here and all my worries were for naught. You guys rock frankly.

And with that, it looks like we're in to the final countdown! Whoa.
