love the pans labryinth style designs mashed up against the original mignola inspired stuff.

that said, it might almost be too much, thats what was so great about the first one, the style was streamlined and iconic....christ theyve introduced like 20 new charcters in the trailer alone.

Regaurdless im stoked!!!

main guys you see in the trailer are The Price (the long hair guy with the sword, the main bad guy) Wink (the big ass ogre looking guy with tusks and back hair who fights Hellboy, has a gauuntlet, right hand man to The Prince) and a couple other semi-main characters with buttloads of just straight up monsters for monsters sake.

There're way more characters/creatures that arnt even shown yet, I have no idea how the fuck they are gonna make it all work. But this will definitely make Spectral Motion a major big name player in the creature effects world, even though they've been doing it for years... hopefully this will make them a more well known name, they totally deserve it.

Christ that looked fucking fantastic. The only thing I can hope for is that the fights this time around don't get shorter and shorter the more the movie progresses, as was the case in the first one. Apart from that I am sure everything will be great.

Also, didn't Mignola do the designs for Pan's Labyrinth as well? I know he did at least one poster for it. Either way I'm not surprised the styles are similar. Mignola and Del Toro work well together.

awesome to the max!!! i cant wait! i dont know anything about this story but im excited.
does the action seem slow to anyone els? or is that just the commercial? seems slow moving to me.

seems like these sequels these days look like the tag line is the movie i wanna see not the head line lol
like Im not even interested in batman, i want it to be just the joker,
rise of the silver surfer, i hate fantastic 4 and just wanted the surfer,
and this one, i love hellboy but what ever is going on with that golden army id rather watch 2 hrs of that lol
