Actually, the first time I used photoshop was last year. I colored something and I remember stupid kids said it was Pop art. :bbq: They didn't see I really suck with colors and photoshop.
This week, I wanted to draw again with photoshop even if I hate that.
I don't think I'll finish one of them (...Maybe the second one):

i remember your works (deviant art) from before and i thought they were awesome. these are some nice sketches.

i have no critique really other than since you might finish the 2nd sketch, it would be nice to see some outline for her striped boots. the stripes that are there now suggest that her footwear is there which is neat doesn't really work. anyway, it's only a sketch, so eh.

why don't you like using photoshop?

Sketches are great and all, but definitely at least try to finish one! People need to try both to really hone their skill. If you spend your life sketching, then when you want to finish a piece, you'll get stuck (like me :[[[)

I personally think the stripes-for-socks are very effective, you just need to bring it home by doing the other leg.
You didn't do it so much with the second pic, but also, when you're shading hair, try to stay away from omg-gonna-define-every-strand-and-get-into-scribble-mode. Scribbling in can help you define the direction of the hair, but I wouldn't just leave it like that. You don't need to define and highlight every piece of hair. Work in chunks, define chunks, not each little piece. It looks more realistic that way, it looks neater, and it's a lot less tedious.
Also, this is a stylistic choice, but maybe try and use some less saturated colors? Bright colors are great and eye catching but if you use them too much works can end up looking gawdy or confusing.

I love your linework though, you have a great sense of movement. Your anatomy, though a little exaggerated, looks right to my eyes and I like the body shape of your women. Don't be afraid to draw eyes though! I have trouble with them too, but you won't get any better if you don't make those mistakes.

Louie>> It's not only photoshop, I don't like drawing on my PC. And I'm happy to see you (one of my fav artist) like my sketches!

Violent Pink>>I think finally, I'll finish the second pic. You're right, I should use less satured colors and draw more eyes. And thank you for this long and helpful crits!

theres nothing wrong with wanting to draw traditionally, to many people are relying on the computer for evrything these days.

oh yeah, the sketches are pretty slick dude, but i wanna see what you can dow ith a mix media paitning (markers / spraypint / gouche / ink / etc)

Oh! I adore the bottom two. The writing you did is rad. The piratey girl with teh stitched up boob... she seems a little off... maybe just thick and I'm not used to people drawing girls like that?

i am likign your last pic. yes ther is nothing wrong with doign things traditionally. i actually hate using he computer to draw. i love your style, but one thing i woudl watch out for is the structure of your feet, you kind of just hint at the form, but your missing the heel and the top of the foot bulks outwards.

Lol, I did this before reading shane's post. It seems the feelings mutual about your art. I needed the brush practice and I loved the pic so..

Je les adore! Plus, plus!! lol

I really do like these, though. The last one in particular. Your movement and style are both striking and fresh.

also I love the French language, though that may be because I was learning it at the same time as German.

Oh wow - Your sketches are gorgeous! I love your rough style and the shapes, the angular lines. Excellent anatomy work to, very envious! Yes, you should definatly work towards a finished piece. I prefer traditional drawing to drawing on the computer, only because I feel more in control of my lines. I need to get a decent drawing tablet, the one I have is mischievious :P You can acomplish amazing things digitally though, that's why I am determined to improve.

Can't wait to see a finished piece from you : D
