Marcamillian. I remember you from Sketchtavern. You were the guy that was really into He-man? If so, lemme say that these lines you dropped here are fresh! I'm diggin all the hippos in the hippo kingdom but derp face hippo at the bottom had me laughing. Nice studies.

As far as theme goes it's alternating days of random suggestions between eyeseaewe and me. Just working on her pick of "flying machines" for today before going to kick it old school by playing some total annihilation with an acquaintance.

Fenne... I did indeed lurk in a shady corner of the tavern. Nostalgia'd hard when I linked from BlueRaptor's blog and found so many familiar usernames. My love for He-man only went so far as the SCHWEET sword I had as a kid (beat the hell out of the thundercats plastic tat). Derpy hippo was an ill fated attempt to do something quicker and looser at the end.

It's good to be drawing again.

Need to do more technical geometric stuff. Think there may be some mecha going down some time soon. Must go back and re-do a half finished robotic Venom after Feb's up.

Typical - day with the most time to do something and I don't. Tomorrow... a full length figure of some description. Also something bonus-y to make up for today's lack of effort.

Day 5: Anatomy

After the last few days being flashes on inspiration of stuff that I wasn't practised enough to draw I thought I'd put some time into something that causes me trouble with figures.... shoulders... always find it hard to connect arms to bodies.

Will get the other bug bear out of the way sometime this month ... BUMS! I just can't seem to attach limbs!

I saw this at work while I was showing some folks the gallery (because we were discussing programming for fun versus work where it's not much fun lately) and everyone thought it was either "Epic" or "Disturbing". I think it's epically disturbing. Nice job dude!

Ok. So SERIOUSLY - your reverse centaur is TERRIFYING - in a major way. No way I could compete with that so I'm almost glad I missed yesterday, almost ... there is a temptation to still pick that idea up after february - reverse centaurs ... reverse mermaids ... the possibilities (are far from) endless ...
