SatelliteSoda has been around for the better part of 5 years now, and every once in a blue freaking moon SatelliteSoda decides to expand its ranks... for better or worse, this time we decided expanding by more than 50% was a good idea...

It's a new year, and with it must come new things. So mark it on your calendar, January 12th, 2010 is only two days away and with it comes some pretty cool things. So keep an eye out and spread the word.

Sheldon Dorf, the founder of the best networking hub for artists, San Diego Comic Con, freaking passes away... We owe him so much. If it weren't for SDCC SatelliteSoda wouldn't be where we are now.

DCU Halloween Special 2009 is on sale now just in time for Halloween and features the color work of our own Dylan McCrae. Dylan provided colors for the Robin story, "Cavity Search", written by Derek Fridolfs with art by Dustin Nguyen.

With colours by our own Dylan McCrae a parody/homage of Gem Fighter/Pocket Fighter, Capcom, 1997, it's a Scott Pilgrim poster at 18" x 24" premiering at PAX West. The colours in true Dylan style are simple and wonderful.

We've changed and evolved since the inception of SatelliteSoda, and yet we managed to survive. One thing remains the same though, that spirit that pulls us together to form a force comparable to Voltron is alive and kicking. It's that same spirit that brings us to a new chapter in SatelliteSoda.

Amazing Joy Buzzards Pinup contest going down on the forums from now till September 23rd. Winner gets to see their work published in the upcoming Amazing Joy Buzzards Volume Two "Monster Love", which is technically Volume Three if you wish to get technical.

The Weekly Jams are back on at SatelliteSoda once again! A new jam will be up every Friday evening. First one is a New Gods/Megaman Zero mash up, which I think is all kinds of awesome.Whether everyone else thinks the same remains to be seen.

A teaser for an upcoming Mark Smith project titled Gladstone's School For World Conquerors.

For those who didn't get the memo, AQUA LEUNG is a brand new graphic novel by Mark Smith and Paul Maybury and it's out now. I have yet to read it, but I have seen a ridiculous amount of this book as it was being put together and it's all kinds of awesome. I cannot wait to read it tomorrow, especially after seeing the amazing amount of positive reviews online.

Issue three of Steve (30 Days Of Night) Niles and Ben (I Luv Halloween) Roman's Cryptics hits comic shops late December and will feature art by some very familiar faces if you regularly frequent SatelliteSoda and the SatelliteSoda forums.
